IUPUI is Indiana's premier urban research university. The campus enrolls more than 30,000 students in 20 schools and academic units.
Individual school ceremonies will be held at various locations in the Indiana Convention Center. Access to these school ceremonies will be via the Maryland Street entrance, which has a circular drive where students and/or guests with disabilities may be dropped off at the lobby door.
A limited number of wheelchairs will be available at no charge to guests on a first-come, first-served basis. A distribution station will be located inside the Maryland Street entrance as well as at the First Aid Room across from Hall E.
For the University Commencement ceremonies in Halls A-B-C, designated areas will be available for wheel-chair seating. A limited number of chairs will be available in this area for accompanying family members. Ushers will direct guests to these areas.
For the benefit of those who have difficulty hearing, the University Commencement ceremonies will be close-captioned on several large screens in Halls A-B-C. A designated seating area is also available for the hearing impaired. Ushers will direct guests to this area.
