The Medical Alumni Council works to achieve the goals stated in the IUSM Alumni Association Mission Statement, that is:

  • -To make the IU School of Medicine Alumni Association the premier medical alumni association in the nation.
  • -To set the benchmarks for performance and standards by which other medical alumni associations will measure their success.
  • -To be known for value-added creative programming for our alumni, and by the strength of our relationship with students, faculty, and administrative staff.
  • -To share and promote the objectives of the School of Medicine to be recognized as a leader in education, clinical care and research.

  • "Our measure of success will be simple. Physicians and other graduates will want to participate and support the School and the Association."
