Family Orientation Program
While newly admitted students are participating in orientation programs on the morning of the White Coat ceremony, family members should plan to attend this important panel discussion, which is sponsored by the IU School of Medicine Alumni Association and designed to answer commonly asked questions for family members of a new medical student.

Your student will be receiving an invitation along with their White Coat Ceremony invitation.
Spouses, significant others, parents, children, brothers, sisters will all benefit from this orientation. Topics will include cursory descriptions of curriculum, time commitment expectations, and a year by year look at the progression from White Coat Ceremony as a first year student through Match Day as a fourth year student. The orientation will focus on both an Indianapolis and Statewide Center perspective, and students, administrators, and faculty will be on hand to answer your questions about your student’s medical education.
Parking available for a small fee in the Vermont Street Garage
with easy access to Campus Center on floor three.
