Join fellow alumni and friends at the Alumni Association’s Winter College in Fort Myers in February, 2008.
Participants will experience a dynamic weekend of educational workshops, lectures and lively discussions, while enjoying sumptuous food, luxurious accommodations, and the warm Florida sun. The Sanibel Harbour Resort and Spa will serve as our headquarters.
Accomplished faculty will join us for the weekend to lead our educational program. Congressman Lee Hamilton will kick-off the weekend's lectures as the keynote speaker at the Friday evening banquet.
Dan Coats, IU School of Law-Indianapolis alumnus and former U.S. Senator and U.S. Ambassador to the Federal Republic of Germany, will be the Saturday luncheon speaker at Winter College.

Tour the Historical Thomas Edison and Henry Ford Homes in Fort Myers
1:30-4:30 p.m.
Cost: $20.00 per person
The Edison House is where the inventor spent working vacations from 1886 until his death in 1931. This is where Edison perfected the incandescent light bulb, the phonograph, the motion picture camera, and the storage battery. The Henry Ford home is located next door to his good friend’s home, Thomas Edison, and was purchased by Ford in 1916.
Tour Ding Darling Wildlife Refuge and Sanibel Island
12:30 – 4:30 p.m.
Cost: $30.00 per person
Cruise to Sanibel Island while seeing dolphins & wading birds as we travel on board our 40’ powered catamaran into the Ding Darling Wildlife Refuge. Arriving at the refuge we will enjoy an interpretive deck talk all about the wildlife of the refuge. After the deck talk, we will board the Adventures in Paradise Trolley for a historical view of the island at the Historical Village, a stop at the beach for shelling near the historic lighthouse and a stop for shopping.
*For those interested in golf, the hotel can assist with getting you onto one of the many great local courses.
