IUPUI Top 100
Nomination Deadline: January 28, 2015
Eligible students are juniors and seniors seeking their first undergraduate degree with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 who have completed a minimum 5 semesters (on any university campus) and 56 credit hours applicable to her/his degree program; 25 or more of those hours must have been completed at the Indianapolis campus as of the Fall 2014 semester.
Successful candidates for this award will have experience and/or performance in three categories:
• Scholastic achievement
• Collegiate and co-curricular activities
• Civic/community service
December 2014 graduates are NOT eligible.
Students can only receive this award twice, typically once as a junior and once as a senior.
Students may be nominated by faculty, staff, or other students. Students may also self-nominate. Only one nomination is accepted per student.
The IUPUI Top 100 program is sponsored by the IUPUI Alumni Council and the Student Organization for Alumni Relations (SOAR).
The IUPUI Alumni Council and the Student Organization for Alumni Relations will recognize the school's top 100 juniors and seniors during the 16th Annual IUPUI Top 100 Outstanding Students Recognition Dinner.

Dress is semi-formal, typically a suit for men and a suit, dress, or gown for women.

Table sponsorships are available for this year's Top 100 dinner on April 10, 2015 at the Marriott in downtown Indianapolis. Table sponsors will receive 8 seats at the dinner, recognition in the printed program and table signs with your school or department name. The cost of a table sponsorship is $750. You may fill your table with faculty and staff or give seats back to use for your school's Top 100 students and their families.
Students will be recognized for scholastic achievement, extracurricular activities on campus, and civic and community service. During the dinner, the most outstanding female student and the most outstanding male student will be announced, as well as the top 10 female and top 10 male students. A panel of alumni, faculty and staff select the top students based on nominations by faculty and staff.
Individual tickets are $40 each. Those interested in attending are asked to RSVP by April 3.

Congratulations to the 2014 Top 100 Students!
Mariana Lopez-Owens, a School of Liberal Arts senior, and Benjamin Judge, a School of Science senior, were named the most outstanding female and male students at IUPUI for 2014.
Their selection as IUPUI outstanding students was announced at the Top 100 Outstanding Students Recognition Dinner.
Selection of the 2014 most outstanding students began with the nomination of more than 1,400 students. From the top 100 female and male students, the top 10 female and male students were chosen. From this select group, the most outstanding female and male students were selected.
The Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis Alumni Council and the Student Organization for Alumni Relations sponsor the event.
Students are selected in recognition of their scholastic achievement, extracurricular activities on campus, and civic and community service. A panel of alumni, faculty and staff selected the top students based on nominations by faculty and staff.
To be named a top student, students had to meet several criteria, including being a degree-seeking junior or senior at IUPUI; completing a minimum of 56 credit hours applicable to her/his degree program; and achieving a minimum cumulative GPA of at least 3.0.
